I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. I hosted dinner at my house for some of my family and it was a great time. Lots of food. I’m still eating leftovers. I apologize for not posting a strip last Thursday but I opted to spend the time with my family.
I hope everyone is ready for the December Holidays madness. My family and I have already watched the Charlie Brown Christmas Special, tuned our radios to the station playing Christmas music and put up our tree. When you have a family, there is no better time of year.
I also forgot to mention last week about the new member of my family.
Her name is Night (although this could change as it already has numerous times). She is a floppy eared rabbit (that’s a technical term, I am sure) my daughter got for her birthday. We are happy to have Night with us.
For the past couple of days I have been seeing a lot of people talking about the trailer for the new Star Trek movie and I had to check it out for myself. It looks awesome. I knew that it couldn’t be too bad with writer/director J.J. Abrams on board but…wow. I have never been a big Star Trek fan and the only one I can recall enjoying is The Wrath of Kahn. If you have time you should check out the trailer. Hopefully the movie lives up to its hype. We’ll see in May 2009.
Finally. The Heartland website is back on track and hopefully there won’t be anymore delays. I hope all the work will be worth it. I will try to get another strip up this week. Starting next week I hope to start with the proposed schedule of updating twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Thanks for your patience.
Also, I need to give a shout out to Phil from the ComicPress support forum who helped get the site up and running. If you like comics be sure to check out his page http://www.frumph.net./ Many, many thanks.
